If the permit is not <br />extended, it will !'e necessary to remove 24,000 yards oi material by <br />November 26 in order to comply with the permit. <br /> <br />Staff did not recall when Waste Management was given authorization to <br />proceed with the grading operations but noted that the finding~ cf fact <br />were adopted on November 12, 1985, billing for administrative costs of the <br />permit was dated February 25, 1986 and the signed version of the contract <br />is dated April 10, 1986. .- <br /> <br />Mr. Goodrich stated that extension of the permit should probably be subject <br />to another public hearing. <br /> <br />Councilmember Cox stated that it would be in the best interest of the site <br />to extend operations until April of 1988 $o that cover and seeding can be <br />done properly. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Cox and seconded by Councilmember Sorteberg <br />directing City Staff to schedule a public hearing for November 10, 2987 <br />regarding Waste Management of Minnesota, Inc.'s request for 6 month <br />extension of a grading and excavating permit. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Cox, <br />DeLuca and Pearson. Voting ~o: None. <br /> <br />Case ~17: Review Of Charitable Gamblin~ License Aoo!ication: Case Of <br /> Ramsey Jaycees: <br /> <br />It was reported that the Jaycees have applied to the State for a charitable <br />gambling license to have pull-tabs at Berg Oil. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Sortebcrg and seconded by Councilmember Pearson to <br />waive the 30 day comment period relating to the Jaycees request for a <br />charitable gambling license. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Mr. Rehbeir stated that the truck encountered on <br />Puma belongs to Donovan our cf St. Cloud and was there becaus~ of a base <br />carny- they have set up in tha~ area. The lowboy on Jar~:is was utilizing the <br />only feasible route and crossing according to clearances and Mn. Eighway <br />Department regulations.
