Voting No: None. <br /> <br />GouncLl recessed at 9:00 p.m. <br /> <br />Mayor Beimann called the meeting back to order at 9:13 p.~ <br /> <br />Case ~10: R~view Revised Conditional Use Permit Agreement; Case Of Mr. <br /> <br />Mr. ~0ot was present and stated that he is in agreement with the revised <br />conditonal use permit. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Cox and seconded by Councilmember Pearson to <br />approve the revised conditional use permit for Mr. Gerald Root to operate <br />an automobile sales and repair business at 14700 Nowthen Blvd. N.W. <br />Further, that Item %9 of the conditional use permit will specify that a <br />'m/n~ of six parking spaces and the driveway' shall be surfaced with a <br />minimu~ of four (4) inches of traprock and Item %10 shall specify that no <br />outside business will be conducted on Sundays. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting No.' None. <br /> <br />Case %11.- Discuss Future Plans For Industrial/Business Sewer And Water: <br /> <br />Mr. Baatikka stated that he met with fDC on February 18 to review two new <br />alternate alignments for providing sewer and water to the Industrial area. <br />Alternate %1 would provide service to the intersectio~ of Industry Avenue <br />and Sunfish Lake Blvd. with a Hwy. %10 crossing at Tungsten Street. <br />Alternate %2 would provide service to Industry and Sunfish Lake Blvd. with <br />a Hwy. #lO crossing at Sunfish Lake Blvd. The water alternative would <br />provide service to the intersection of Industry and ~mfish as Phase I and <br />Phase II would extend water service across ~y. %10. EDC has recommended <br />proceeding with Alternative %2, Phase 1 and 2 for sewer service and <br />Alternative %1, Phase 1 for water service. Mr. Hartley is working on <br />revised estimates of tax increment revenues which can be generated by the <br />tax increment district. <br /> <br />Councilms~ber Cox inquired if the people in the Tungsten area are aware of <br />these new alternatives. <br /> <br />City f~gineer Raatikka replied that some meabers of fDC felt that affected <br />property ~ners should be contacted prior to making a recommendation to <br />Council but the final vote was to proceed with a recommendation.
