Establishment Of An Ad Hoc Fire DePartment Camittee - <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Cox and seconded by Co~cilm~mber De/~ca directing <br /> <br />city staff to prepare a resolution for council adoption that would <br />establish an Ad Hoc Fire DePartment C~,ittee in Ramsey and to proceed to <br />advertise for persons to serve on that cam~ttee. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Co~cilms~bers Sorteberg, COx, <br />DeLuca and Pearson. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />b. Affluent Sewage Pump System For Ramsey Municipal Center - <br /> <br />City Engineer Raatikka reported that sewage system at City Hall is only <br />operating on one pump and the system needs improving. The City has <br />received a quote frcm Tri-State Drilling for a duplex pump system with <br />alternating controls. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilm~mber Sorteberg and seconded by Councilmember Pearson <br />authorizing the purchase and installation of a duplex a~fflmrfc sewage pump <br />system from Tri-State Drilling in the amount of $2,167.00. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Re]am-m, Councilmembers Sorteberg, <br />DeLuca and Pearson. Voting No: None. Absent: Co~ncilmember Cox was <br />temporarily out of Co,oil (~mbers. <br /> <br />c) Problems With Copying Machine At Ramsey City Offices - <br /> <br />Mr. Goodrich noted that staff is having problems with the Xerox machine and <br />is attenpting to be released from the contract. Staff is researching <br />features and rates of other copying machines. <br /> <br />d) Rediscussion Of Minor Subdivision For Jake Barthold - <br /> <br />Ms. Norris stated that Mr. Barthold has redrawn his request for a <br />subdivision that would result in both parcels having 200' of frontage on <br />~-y. ~47 with a co~on access. Ms. Norris recommended that if Council <br />is agreeable to this subdivision request, they might want to require an <br />easement for future roadway. <br /> <br />Page 20 of 21 <br /> <br /> <br />
