The Ramsey Planning and Zoning Commission conducted a public hearing on <br />Tuesday, March 3, 1987 at the Pamsey Municipal Center, 15153 Ncwthen Blvd. <br />N.W., ~sey, Minnesota regarding Mr. Charles Christian's request for a <br />conditic~ml use permit to store vehicies and operate an automobile sales <br />lot in the ~B ~ural Eusiness Dist£ict. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mr. Ben Deemer <br /> <br />Mr. (harles LaDue <br />Mr. Terry ~_ndriksen <br />Mr. Jim ~cwell <br /> <br />Also Present: Ommm/ty Develolm~nt Director Anne Norris <br /> <br />Chairman Peterson called the public hearing to order at 8:10 p.m. <br /> <br />CITIZEN <br /> <br />Mr. Charles Christian stated that he is developing Ramsey Commercial Park <br />and is requesting a conditional use pemnit to have a motor home/auto/truck/ <br />recreational vehicles sales lot at that location. <br /> <br />Dave Nathan - owner of Riverside Parts on mey. 10 - Inquired if this area <br />is zoned for recreational vehicle sales. <br /> <br />Commissioner Deemer stated that Pamsey's business codes are inadequate with <br />respect to specifying allowable land use activities and so conditional use <br />permits are necessary in a lot of cases. <br /> <br />Mr. Tom Kurak - 15001 Sunfish Lake alvd. - Stated 'rollin~ businesses' are <br />good develoimmnt to have u~til that time when a higher use of the property <br />is desired. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Hendriksen and seconded by Commissioner Howell to <br />adjourn the public hearing. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairman Peterson, Commissioners Deemer, <br />Sh~m~ay, Ziume~, LaDue, Hendriksen and Howell.
