request would go to the Park and Recreation Commission. Mr. Thomsen stated <br />that one access from County Road No. 5 would not create any problems. The <br />Commission reviewed the topography of the property. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Deemer and seconded by Commissioner Shumway to recommend <br />approval of Mr. Thomsen's request for a metes and bounds subdivision, provided <br />the parcel is split into two equal parcels, each with 275 feet of frontage on <br />County Road No. 5 and with a common access for both parcels onto County Road <br />No. 5. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes: <br />Deemer, Hendriksen and LaDue. <br />Commissioner Howell. <br /> <br />Vice Chairman Zimmerman, Commissioners Shumway, <br />Voting no: None. Absent: Chairman Peterson, <br /> <br />(Note: At this time, Chairman Peterson arrived at the meeting.) <br /> <br />Case 92: Requ_ est for Site Plan Review: Case of Mr. Michael Powers <br /> <br />Mr. Powers was present and explained that he would like to build a concrete <br />block building for storage on Lot 1, Block 2, HY-10 RAMSEY. Access to the <br />structure will be from the north frcm147thAvenue N.W. <br /> <br />The Commission discussed blacktopping the driveway and requested Mr. Powers to <br />provide that within one year of receipt of certificate of occupancy. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Deemer and seconded by Commissioner Zimmerman to <br />recommend approval of Mr. Powers' site plan review. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes: Chairman Peterson, Commissioners LaDue, <br />Hendriksen, Deemer, Zimmerman and Shumway. Voting no: None. Absent: <br />Commissioner Howell. <br /> <br />Request for Metes and Bounds Subdivision: Case of Ms. Ella <br /> <br />Ms. Pomraning was present and explained that she and her husband own 80 acres <br />to the west of Armstrong Boulevard and are requesting a metes and bounds <br />subdivision of the property in order to sell approximately 69 acres. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Deemer and seconded by Commissioner Hendriksen to <br />recommend approval of Ms. Pomraning's request for a metes and bounds <br />subdivision providedthesmallerparcel exceeds 10 acres. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes: Chairman Peterson, Commissioners Shumway, <br />Zimmerman, Deemer, Hendriksen and LaDue. Voting no: None.
