Proposed Modifications To Tax Increment <br /> Financing Districts: <br /> <br />Ms. Norris stated that Council adopted a resolution on January 27, 1987 <br />calling a public hearing to oonsider modifications to Develolmmnt District <br />%1 and Tax Incr~ent Financing District %2 in order to be in a position to <br />assist with site /mprov~ments should Altron decide to remain .and expand in <br />Ramsey. <br /> <br />Chairman Peterson and Cc~missioner Zi~merman stated that in their opinion, <br />tax increment financing is more appropriately used for roads and utilities <br />than landscaping. Chairman Peterson requested that Ms. Norris research <br />guidelines used by other communities regarding eligible uses for tax <br />incr~ent revenues. <br /> <br />Case 911-. Discussion P~gardinq Annual Planning_ Institute.: <br /> <br />~e G0~mission ~oted that Commissi~rs Deemer and Zimmerman attended the <br />Annual Planning Institute on January 21.
