Riverwood Hills - i

No new acquisition is proposed here for this 1.5 acre site, due to
its placement with the surrounding areas. Recreation facilities,
landscaping and plantings are proposed...but should be handled in
the 5-year CIP and site development stage.

Riverwood - 2

Because of this park's shape and the surrounding area with severe
access limitations, the site should be left as it is.

Brookview

This site is the most developed of the Ramsey parks, and because of
this and the surrounding residences, the park should not be enlarged.
Additional development may be necessary for parking facilities if
the need arises, and steps should be placed up the steep bank for
access purposes.

White Pines

Because this site is so close to the already well-developed Brookview
Park, and because access to White Pines is relatively poor (from the
south end of Helium Street N.W.), no new development is forseen.
With the exception of cleaning the site, White Pines should be left
in its beautiful natural state.

Woodland Green - also A-2

It is proposed that this site be enlarged an additional 8-10 acres
and that neighborhood streets on the north, south and east side abut
the site with its addition. This will allow for more open space for
recreation purposes, with a suitable buffer on three sides. It is
proposed that this site, with the addition, be developed in a terrace
fashion - taking advantage of this natural feature now existing on
the site.

Ramsey Terrace - also A-3

It is proposed that this site be expanded to the east to gain control
over a surface drainage pond. The existing site is small and nearly
inaccessible due to its location to existing neighborhood streets.
Though the present site of 4.6 acres is quite nice, the addition of
10 acres to the east would enhance the site by making it a very pretty
passive area. In addition, neighborhood streets - in any new develop-
ment to the east - could be located so as to gain direct access to
site.

- 21 -
