ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY TASK FORCE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />On Monday, May 17, 2004, the Environmental Policy Task Force (EPTF) met in the Conference <br />Room at Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Blvd. N.W., Ramsey, MN. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Chairperson Joe McDilda <br />Committee Member Michael Max <br />Committee Member Greg Bauer <br />Committee Member Jon Olds (Park Commission Liaison) <br /> <br />Members Absent: <br /> <br />Committee Member Margaret Connolly <br />Committee Member Erika Sitz <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />Community Development Director Sylvia Frolik <br />Environmental Specialist Bruce Bacon <br />City Council Liaison Sarah Strommen <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Chairperson McDilda called the meeting to order at 6:45 p.m. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br /> <br />Consensus was to approve the agenda as submitted. <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br /> <br />The May 3, 2004 minutes were not available for review and approval. <br /> <br /> TASK FORCE BUSINESS <br /> <br />Case #1: Review Draft Purpose Statement For Ramsey Wetland Buffer Ordinance <br /> <br />The Committee members reviewed the draft purpose statement. The 5th paragraph, 2nd sentence <br />was amended to read as follows: "It is also recognized that wetland integrity requires initial and <br />on-going management practices and mitigation near wetlands." The l0th paragraph was <br />amended to read as follows: "It is the intent of this ordinance to avoid the degradation of <br /> <br />EPTF May 17, 2004 <br />Page 1 of 4 <br /> <br /> <br />
