Park and Recreation Commission Regular Meeting Minutes dated February 12, 2004. <br /> <br /> Commissioner Olds had a few changes to the February 12, 2004 minutes. He noted in the <br /> opening the paragraph, the sentence should not include "joint". The first sentence under <br /> Agenda Approval should have the engineers name "Principal City Engineer Olson". <br /> <br /> Commissioner Olds noted on page 2, first sentence under Approve Minutes should not <br /> include Commissioner "Rolfe" because he is no longer on the Commission. <br /> <br /> Commissioner Olds noted on page 3, fourth paragraph, the sentence should read "Parks and <br /> Utilities Supervisor Riverblood stated it is staff's projection that a final draft may b__~e <br /> available for Park and Recreation Commission approval on or about the regular April <br /> meeting." <br /> <br />2) Park and Recreation Commission Regular Meeting Minutes dated April 8, 2004. <br /> Commissioner Olds noted in the opening paragraph, "Joint" should be removed. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Johns, Commissioners Olds, Lehman, Ostrum, and <br />Pontius. Voting No: None. Absent: LaMere, Shryock. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Lehman, seconded by Commissioner Ostrum to move the first item in <br />Staff Input before Item 1 on the agenda. <br /> <br />Motion carried: Voting Yes: Chairperson Johns, Commissioners Lehman, Ostrum, Olds and <br />Pontius. Voting No: None. Absent: LaMere, Shryock. <br /> <br />COMMISSION BUSINESS <br /> <br />Case#l: Recommend Park Dedication for Eliott Schaeffer/Trott Brook Minor <br /> Subdivision <br /> <br />It was noted this case was presented at the April 8, 2004 meeting and tabled. <br /> <br />Parks/Utilities Supervisor Riverblood explained staff met two times with Mr. Schaeffer and <br />discussed the park dedication for this property. A draft park dedication agreement was drafted <br />after the first meeting and presented at the second meeting. Mr. Schaeffer felt the terms of the <br />agreement were reasonable. <br /> <br />Civil Engineer II Linton discussed the item with the Commission. <br /> <br />Commissioner Olds asked how this affected the Trott Brook Corridor for the greenway space <br />they are looking at for the Master Plan. Parks/Utilities Supervisor Riverblood stated he did not <br />think there would be anything that would conflict with this.
