Councilmember Strommen informed Mr. Hamilton she had a complaint on three of the dates he
contacted her about.

Mayor Gamec asked if Mr. Hamilton has contacted the PCA.

Mr. Hamilton replied he has not been able to obtain a phone number for the PCA.

Mayor Gamec informed Mr. Hamilton that staff will inform him of the phone number to the
PCA.

Jon Enstrom, 8702 - 181st Avenue NW, stated he would like to see the City of Ramsey take some
o~' the land they have and develop a new City park covered with beautiful green grass, trees,
flowers and shrubs. The area would not have ball fields or dogs, and no snowmobiles or ATV's
would be allowed. There would be no sports activities or lights. He would like to see the City
come up with a cemetery, as it does not have a public cemetery. Everyone needs to go through
the local church, but everyone is not affiliated with that church. With all the hundreds of acres
the City has in parkland they do not have a public cemetery.

Mayor Gamec commented he believes there are two public cemeteries in the City.

Mr. Enstrom replied he was told the cemeteries are all church-owned property. He would like to
see a municipal cemetery, which a cemetery board could oversee and maintain. They could set
aside land as development comes. It could be non-denominational for all of the residents.

Mayor Gamec suggested Mr. Enstrom bring this issue to the Park Board and ask them to consider
looking into his request.

APPROVE AGENDA

Motion by Councilmember Elvig, seconded by Councilmember Strommen, to approve the
agenda as presented.

Motion carried.
