This report is called "Wage Detail". It is in <br /> addition to the quarterly report which you currently furnish to the Research <br />iranch of this Department. The two reports which are now required will be in <br />yellow mailer package and will be mailed-to you at the end of each quarter. <br />f you have more than one location and are required to furnish wage infor- <br /> %ation by location, you will also be required to breakdown the wage detail <br /> .nformation by location. <br /> <br /> You will be required to furnish this additional report beginning with the <br /> irst calendar quarter of 1984. .The first report will ~e due on April 30, <br /> 984, and will be for the months of January, February, and March 1984. <br /> <br /> This information will eventually be used as a basis for establishing un- <br />employment insurance claims. Forty-one states already require this infor- <br /> ation from employers. Minnesota is the 42nd state to require wage detail <br /> <br />reporting. <br /> <br />IA sample of the new quarterly report (DES-1406) and the new wage detail <br />report (DES-iD) is being enclosed with this letter to help familiarize, you <br />with the new format. <br /> <br /> IYou will have the option of reporting wage detail on paper, as provided in <br /> the sample, or by magnetic computer tape. For the larger employers, magnetic <br />_tape specifications have been enclosed with this letter.
