I I I I I I I I I I I i I I I I I I I C~uncilmember Van ~agner introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION %83- 192 ~EREAS, a public hearing was held on June 14, 1983 at 8:30 p.m. the Ramsey Municipal Center to consider the sealcoating improvement for Rum Acres Estates I and II, Project %83-12; and ~HEREAS, the sealcoating improvement was ordered as proposed, plans and specifications were approved and an advertisement for bids was ordered for Rum Acres Estates I and II (~83-12) and said bid opening date was set for June 28, 1983 at 11:00 a.m. in the Ramsey Municipal Center; and ~tEREAS, the bids were opened, tabulated and awarded to Allied Blacktop. Company by the Ramsey City Council on June 28, 1983 and said bid amount was $41,679.70. T~]~AS, upon completion of the project, an assessment hearing was ordered for September 13, 1983 at 7:20 p.m. for the purpose of passing on the total assessment cost to the benefited property o%~ers; and WHEREAS, at the public hearing it was brought to the attention of the Ramsey City Council an additional parcel should be assessed, as the property owner is obtaining a benefit from the improved streets (said parcel being Plat 89252, Parcel 5400, PIN 19-32-24-32-0001). ~AS, the Ramsey City Council hereby ordered a public hearing to pass upon the feasibility of this project to the property owner, and said public hearing was scheduled for October 4, 1983 at 7:30 p.m. in the Ramsey Municipal Center. ~0# THEREFOI~, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY ~OU~Cr~., CITY OF RAMSEY, A~OKA (~]H~Y, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the Ramsey City Council hereby approves the addition of Plat 89252, Parcel 5400, PIN 19-32-24-32-0001 be added to Sealcoating Improvement Project %83-12, Rum Acres Estates I and II. 2) That the Ramsey City Council hereby orders an assessment hearing for October 25, 1983 at 7:00 p.m. to pass upon to the benefited property owner the assessment cost for Sealcoating Improvement Project 183-12, Rum Acres Estates I and II. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Schlueter and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Councilmembers Van Wagner, Schlueter, Sorteberg and Reimann and the following voted against the same: Non e and the following was absent: Mayor Gamec Pate
