I I I I I I I I I I I I I i I I I I I TO; FROM: RE: DATE: City Administrator Building Official Norm Holm's PUD November Z, 1983 This morning, Mr. Peter Raatikka and myself met with representatives of Mr. Norm Holm's and discussed a possible schedule of meetings for reviewal of the PUD that was previously considered as Flintwood Hills Second Addition. The developer indicated that he would like to be placed on the Council agenda for their special meeting of November 15, 1983. However, we informed him that we did not feel placing an item of this nature on a special meeting agenda was advisable and we would not place it on an agenda until the regular meeting of November ZZ, 1983. They then asked if they could come in under citizen's input for the special meeting of November 15, 1983 and we informed then that they could. Accordingly, a tentative schedule of meetings has been proposed as follows: 1) Special City Council Meeting of November 15, 1983 - Developer will appear before the City Council under citizen's input to solicit input from the Council on the proposed PUD. Some direction from the City Council at this point would allow the developer to proceed with some of the plans that must be prepared. Z) Regular City Council Meeting of November Z2, 1983 - The developer will appear before the City Council for formal direction on the concept of the PUD. Significant changes from what had been reviewed at the special meeting of November 15, 1983 would not be anticipated. 3) Special Planning and Zoning Commission Meeting of November zg, 1983 - If a consensus on the concept is reached at the special Council meeting of November 15, 1983, then a special Planning and Zoning Commission meeting will be scheduled for a public hearing to consider the PUD request as well as any rezoning that would have to take place to accomodate the PUD. This meeting would be scheduled for November 29, 1983. It is my opinion that a special meeting would probably be adviseable as there will probably be a considerable amount of citizen input. Beyond November 29, 1983 nothing has been scheduled. However, the developer has indicated that he would possibly be asking the City Council to conduct a special meeting to consider preliminary PUD approval. At that time final approval would be scheduled for the City Council's agenda that is tentatively being considered for December Z0, 1983. This schedule and its purpose may at this time be meaningless, as our City Engineer has informed me that in his discussion of November 2, 1983 with t?e Waste Control Commission, he was informed we had lost our priority for funding for 1984 and in all likelihood will not be considered until 1985.
