CITY HEALTH INSURANCE: Enclosure (D3-i) contains the new health insurance rate for 1984 and major changes. Further, Exhibit 'A' contains a comparison of benefits between the different HMOs that are available. Secondly, we will be offering open enrollment from November Z3, 1983 to December 13, 1983 which means that anybody on the City's health plan may switch HMO coverage or add dependants to his/her plan at this time. All persons covered through Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Minnesota (BCBSM) will have to switch to one of the other plans. We will be calling these people in to discuss it with them. Council Action: No action is required by Council.
