I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />PROCEEDINGS OF CITY COUNCIL <br /> CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />A regular meeting of the Ramsey City Council was held on Tuesday, <br />July 10, 1984 at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Blvd. <br />N.W., Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Tom Gamec <br />Councilmember Gary Reimann <br />Councilmember A1 Sorteberg <br />Councilmember Jean Schlueter <br />Councilmember Sue Van Wagner <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Administrator Lloyd Schnelle <br />City Attorney William Goodrich <br />City Engineer Peter Raatikka (arrived 8:00 p.m.) <br />City Building Official Clayton Berg <br />Reporter Carolyn Thompson (arrived 7:52 p.m.) <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called the regular Council meeting to order at <br />7:35 p.m. and led in the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br /> <br />BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT PUBLIC HEARING <br /> <br />The regular Council meeting adjourned at 7:36 p.m. in order to <br />conduct the following Board of Adjustment public hearing: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />Request For A Variance To Place A Structure In The <br />Required Setback; Case Of Econ Marketing. <br /> <br />The regular Council meeting was called back to order at 7:38 p.m. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />Larry Lindahl - 8300 153rd - Representing Ramsey's 100th Birthday <br />Celebration Committee and requesting Council take appropriate <br />actions necessary to guarantee a successful celebration: <br /> <br />1) Use of City Hall and Property on Saturday, August 25, 1984. <br />2) Allowance of Beer Wagon for JC's. <br />3) Use of property North of building for parking. <br />4) Financial support for advertisement. <br />5) Financial support for kiddy rides. <br />6) Support for rest room facilities. <br /> <br />Expected costs of Items 4, 5, and 6 are: <br /> <br />Advertisement <br /> <br />Kiddy Rides <br /> <br />2-1/8 page ads in Anoka Shopper <br /> <br />Printing of Flyers <br /> <br />Moon Walk <br /> <br />$184.80 <br /> 2O0.O0 <br /> 185.00 <br /> <br />C/July 10, 1984 <br />Pang9 3 of 13 <br /> <br /> <br />
