JUly' 1984 Homestead An'd LGA Settlement) 7 <br /> <br />a) Cash Flow Report For JUne 1984 - <br /> <br />Council noted. <br /> <br />b) Revenue And Expenditure Report For June 1984 - <br /> <br />Council noted. <br /> <br />c) July 1984 Property Tax Settlement - <br /> <br />Council noted. <br /> <br />d) 1984 Fiscal Disparity S~r~n~ary Prep...ared By Anoka County - <br /> <br />Council noted. <br /> <br />e) Homestead Credit Aid And Loca~ Government Aid (LGA) 1984 - <br /> <br />Council noted. <br /> <br />City Attorney Goodrich arrived at this time. <br /> <br />Case #2: Ramsey Newsletter' Presentation By Mr. Greg Bergeron: <br /> <br />Mr. Bergeron provided Council with the following: <br /> <br />Proposed sample contract. <br />Proposed schedule for production of Ramsey Resident. <br />Information on how revenue is garnered for such a <br />publication. <br /> <br />Mr. Bergeron stated that the same format will be followed for <br />the Ramsey Resident as is for the Coon Rapids Challenge except <br />the Ramsey Resident will consist of 16 pages rather than 24. <br /> <br />Mr. Bergeron stated that Bergeron & Associates would prefer that <br />the contract be drawn up on Ramsey City Letterhead; there are <br />checks and balances for both the City and Bergeron & Associates <br />included in the contract; Ramsey is responsible for provide the <br />editorial portions; this newsletter is not intended for commentary; <br />it will appear the 3rd week of the months designated. <br /> <br />Mr, Bergeron stated that since there are only 5 weeks remaining <br />until the September issue is due out, he would appreciate Council <br />passing a motion approving a contract with Bergeron & Associates, <br />as soon as possible. <br /> <br />Motion by Mayor Gamec and seconded by Councilm~mber Van Wagner <br />that the City enter into a contract with Bergeron & Associates <br />for the production of a City Newsletter, that the contract be <br /> <br />C/July 24, 1984 <br />Page 10 of 22 <br /> <br /> <br />
