City of Ramsey-- "
15153 NOWTHEN BOULEVARD N.W., RAMSEY, MINNESOTA 55303 · (612) 427-1410

September 16, 1984

Mr. Rick Dame
15621 Bari~n Street N.W.
Ramsey, Minnesota 55303

RE: Use of Fields in Central Park Fall of 1984

Dear Rick:

This letter is sent you confirming our conversation of September
16, 1984 regarding the use of the Central Park Fields during the
fall of 1984 for soccer and football. The Park and Recreation
Commission has requested the fields not be used during this time
for any scheduled g~mes or practices. The Park and Recreation
Commission realizes this may be an inconvenience but feel a full
seasons growth of the grass will greatly enhance the appearance
of the park next spring. The cooperation of the RYAA will be
greatly appreciated.

In checking with the City Engineer regarding the depth of the
fields in Central Park he indicated they are 275 feet which is
long enough for adult softball games. The northwest field,
however, does have some additional footage so it could be used by
Little League but wasn't sure of the exact depth.

Thank you in advance for your cooperation and if you. have any
further questions regarding parks, etc. please do not hesitate
to contact me.

Sincerely,

"Sheila Beyer
Deputy Clerk

CC:

City Street Superintendent
City Police Department
C-1
city staff
