Voting No: Councilm~mber Schlueter. ~bsent: Councilm~mber Reimann. e) Adoption Of Tax Levy - Council unanimously consented to dispense with the reading of the resolution. Motion by Councilmember Van Wagner and seconded by Councilm~member Schlueter to adopt Resolution #84-208 setting the 1985 tax levy collectable in 1985 in the amount of $918,017.00. (Please refer to resolution file for Resolution #84-208). Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilm~ers Sorteberg and Van Wagner. Voting No: Councilmember Schlueter. Absent: Councilm~r Reimann. Councilm~mber Sorteberg referred to lighting at Central Park and stated that he doesn't think the park is used enough to warrant $50,000 to light two fields. Mr. Schnelle stated that the Budget Ccmmittee has recommended that revenue sharing be used for computer activity and dollars in the landfill trust fund be used for Central Park. Lighting for Central Park would have to go to bids and Council would have to approve the bid. Mayor Gamec stated that the money in the landfill trust fund was designated for park development; it looks like the landfill location is ~£easible for park develo~-nent and the property may eventually be owned by the County.
