Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilm~ers Sorteberg, <br />Reimann and Van Wagner.- Voting No: Councilme~ber Schlueter. <br /> <br />b) Introducing Of Ordinance To Exchange Land Between ~he City Of <br /> Ramsey and River's Bend Properties - <br /> <br />Council noted receiving proposed Ordinance 984-15, Sale Of City <br />Pr oper t~y. <br /> <br />Case ~9: Election Judges: <br /> <br />Council unanimously consented to dispense with the reading of the <br />proposed resolution. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Van Wagner and seconded by Councilmember <br />Schlueter to adopt Resolution 984-215 appointing election judges for <br />the General Election which is to be held November 6, 1984. (Please <br />refer to resolution file for Resolution 984-215). <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Reimann, <br />Sorteberg, Schlueter and Van Wagner. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case 910: Drainage Problems: <br /> <br />Mr. Battenberg was present. <br /> <br />City Engineer presented ~hotos of areas with severe drainage problems <br />in Ramsey. <br /> <br />Council directed City Engineer Raatikka check out the damn in County <br />ditch 43 in Flintwood. <br /> <br />Mr. Raatikka stated that hearings will beheld for storm drainage for <br />District 43., <br /> <br />Mr. Schnelle stated that Council is going to have to seriously <br />considered installing storm sewers as an ultimate solution to the <br />drainage problems. <br /> <br />Council consensus is to not take any specific action until after the <br />pending storm drainage hearings for Flintwood. <br /> <br />MAYOR/COUNCIL INPUT <br /> <br />a) Discussion Of Dog Problems - <br /> <br />Councilmember Van Wagner there is a problem on Bowers Drive; residents <br />are not complying with leash law and licensing of pets. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Reimann and seconded by Councilmember Van <br />Wagner to issue a letter to all residents of B~ers Drive informing <br />~;~'~1 uf ~e leash and license laws for pets and that this particular <br />area will be patrolled by animal control agency; further that this <br />action is generated from complaints the City is receiving from that <br /> <br />Page 7 of 9 <br /> <br /> <br />
