Mayor Gamec explained that
the Council meeting is being held on a Monday because of the
Primary Elections scheduled for Tuesday, September 11, 1984.

Douglas Fountain - 15255 Garnet ST. N.W. - Proceeded to read
excerpts ~from the following past Council minutes:

April 23, 1979 - "Sue Van Wagner approached the City Council
and presented several pictures .of different dates when
debris was blown into adjacent yards." (These minutes also
note that several other citizens registered complaints
regarding the landfill and it's operation.) It is a whole lot
different now than it was .back in 1967. The people in this
community at that time signed petitions to keep the landfill
out only to find out that because this was a Township it had
no authority and could do nothing to keep the landfill out.
He said he was one of the original petitioners on the Town
Board for this Township to become a City and for this very
reason.:' "Mayor Gamec reported that he received complaints
