P&R CASE: #5 <br /> <br />REVIEW RAMSEY TOWN CENTER PARK IMPROVEMENT <br />MODIFICATIONS <br /> By: Leonard Linton, Civil Engineer <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />Ramsey Town Center is proposing to install the parks as part of the development of the <br />project instead of making land and cash dedications to the City. The scope of park <br />improvements provided has been reviewed and discussed by the Parks Commission, City <br />Council and staff over the past several months. Negotiations continue between the City <br />and the Developer. Construction plans have been submitted for East Park and South Park <br />and concept sketches have been submitted for West Park and North Park. The Developer <br />submitted Pavilion Sketches for review at this meeting. The sketches are attached. <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br /> <br />Staff will provide an update on the current status of the negotiations for the park <br />improvements. <br /> <br />Action: <br /> <br />Motion to recommend to City Council that pavilion design <br />in the Rarnsey Town Center parks. <br /> <br />be accepted for placement <br /> <br />Reviewed By: <br />Public Works Director <br />Assistant Public Works Director <br /> <br />P&R: 07/08/04 <br /> <br />43 <br /> <br /> <br />
