Councilmembcr Cook introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #04-05-133 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION ADOPTING FINDING OF FACT #0674 RELATING TO A REQUEST <br />FROM SARAH PICKHARDT FOR A HOME OCCUPATION PERMIT TO OPERATE A <br />ONE PERSON CHIROPRACTIC BUSINESS ON THE PROPERTY LOCATED AT <br />15751 POTASSIUM STREET NW. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey received an application from Sarah Pickhardt for a <br />home occupation permit to establish a one-person chiropractic business within the principal <br />dwelling on the property generally known as 15751 Potassium Street and legally described as <br />follows: <br /> <br />Lot 1, Block 3, River Pines 4th Addition, Anoka County, Minnesota <br /> <br />(the "Subject Property") <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THIS CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA that the findings of fact relating <br />to the request are determined to be as follows: <br /> <br />That on April 6, 2004 Sarah Pickhardt, hereinafter referred to as "Applicant", properly <br />applied for a home occupation permit to establish and operate a one-person chiropractic <br />in her home. <br /> <br />That the Applicant appeared before the Ramsey Planning Commission for a public <br />hearing pursuant to Section 9.03.05 of the City Code on May 6, 2004, and that said public <br />hearing was properly advertised and that the minutes of said public hearing are hereby <br />incorporated as a part of these findings by reference. <br /> <br />3. That the Subject Property is zoned R-1 Single Family Residential. <br /> <br />4. That the Subject Property is a single family urban lot. <br /> <br />That chiropractic businesses are not a permitted use in the R-1 Single Family Residential <br />District. <br /> <br />That the Applicant has provided documentation to support that the home occupation will <br />be conducted within the private dwelling on the property, that the area set aside for the <br />home occupation does not exceed 20% of the total floor area of the private dwelling, and <br />the operation will not include any employment of persons not residing in the private <br />dwelling in the performance of the home occupation. <br /> <br />7. That the Applicant will reside at the location of the proposed home occupation. <br /> <br />That the Applicant has stated that there will be no exterior storage of business equipment <br />and materials. <br /> <br /> <br />
