Mill and overlay improvements were recently completed <br />on Sunwood Drive between Sunfish Lake Boulevard and the bridge between 147th Lane and <br />Krypton Street/Court. Work included replacing damaged curb and gutter, repairing storm sewer <br />structures, and milling and overlaying 2" of bituminous pavement. <br />2016 Crackseal and Sealcoat Improvements. Over 16 miles of City streets were cracksealed <br />and sealcoated in late August. This work is complete except for the striping which will occur the <br />week of October 3rd <br />Business Park 95 Regional Stormwater Pond Improvements. Improvements to the regional <br />stormwater pond within Business Park 95, located east of Sunfish Lake Boulevard between <br />Highway 10 and Bunker Lake Boulevard, will be completed in 2016. Proposed improvements <br />include clearing and grubbing trees and grading the soil to expand the capacity of the existing <br />pond, along with ditch grading and installation of storm sewer to provide an outlet for this pond, <br />which is currently land -locked. Construction is scheduled to begin Monday, October 3rd, and <br />should be completed within 3 weeks, weather permitting. <br />Zeolite Street Storm Sewer Extension. Trunk storm sewer is being extended south along Zeolite <br />Street, south of Bunker Lake Boulevard, where it will outlet into the large COR stormwater <br />basin. This web page will be updated during <br />construction of these projects. <br />Anoka County Hi$!hway Improvement Projects <br />Armstrong Boulevard/CR 83 Pavement Reclamation. Anoka County will complete a pavement <br />reclamation project on Armstrong Boulevard/CR 83 between 1491h Lane and 173rd Avenue <br />between October 3rd and the end of October or early November. The pavement reclamation <br />process essentially involves grinding the existing pavement section into aggregate base, spreading <br />and compacting the ground aggregate base back on top of existing compacted aggregate base, then <br />adding a 4 inch layer of new bituminous pavement on top of the reclaimed pavement. In-person absentee voting began last week Friday, September 23, <br />and to the time of this writing, about 70 people have come in to Ramsey City Hall to vote. There <br />have been several requests for absentee voting via mail as well. Staff expects the number of in- <br />person absentee voters to surpass previous years. <br />
