Amendment I I Ramsay hereby ordains: Chapter 210.01 Street Assessment is hereby amended by the addition of the following: 210.02 WATER AND SEWER UTXLXTXES Preface: This ordinance' ts to adopted pursuant Chapter 11, Section 11.01 of the Ramsey City Charter and is intended to sattsfy the requirements of said Section 11.01. 210.O20 General. An~ municipal water system and/or sanitary sewer system which is constructed in the City of Ramsey pursuant to the City of Ramsay Code regulations shall be operated as public utilities and all revenues and operating expenditures of said utilities shall be properly accounted for in a separate municipal fund which shall be a combined water and sewer utility fund. The Council shall have authority to establish fees for connection to and use of the municipal water and sanitary sewer systems from time to time by ordinance. 210.021 Definitions. Unless the context clearly indicates otherwise, the words, terms and phrases, aS used in Section 210.20 et seq. shall have the meanings set forth in the paragraphs of this section which follow: 1. '~unicipal Water System" or "City Water" shall mean the municipal water system of the City of Ramsay. 2. "Sewage" shall mean a combination of the water-carried wastes from residence, business buildings, institutions and industrial establishments. 3. "Sewer" shall mean a pipe or conduit for carrying sewage.
