to flow into or pass into the same, and said owner, agent, <br />I occupant or other person as ~foresaid, shall when directed by <br /> the Council or its designated representative, within five <br /> days after notice in writing to that effect, provide his <br />I drain with sufficient cesspool catch basin and shall <br /> or <br /> immediately provide such other means as shall prevent any <br /> substance or ~atter from passing into the drain or sanitary <br />I sewer which may cause a deposit or obstruction therein. <br /> 3. In case of neglect or refusal to provide a cesspool or <br /> <br />i catch basin, or to clean out or repair or alter such drain, <br /> for the space o£ five days, the Council or its designated <br /> <br />representative shall cause ihs same to be repaired, altered, <br /> <br />I cleaned and provided with such other means to prevent any <br /> substances or matter from passing into the sanitary sewer or <br /> drain that may cause a deposit or obstruction therein as they <br />i may deem expedient, at the expense of the owner, agent, <br /> occupant, or other person having charge of the premises. <br /> <br /> 4. The service pipe to the watermain and the connection <br />I thereto shall be the property of the owner of the premises <br /> and must be protected and maintatnd by him. In the event <br /> such owner or any customer shall fail to make any necessary <br />I repairs to such service connections or pipe within twenty- <br /> four (24) hours after being notified to do so, the City shall <br /> make such repairs and the cost thereof shall be charged to <br />I the owner of said premises or the consumer and shall be <br /> collected in the same manner as other bills for water <br /> consumption are collected. <br /> <br />5. The City shall warrant the "individual home lift pump <br />units" against normal wear for the designated Iow lots <br /> <br /> requiring them. Damage to the lift pump unit caused by the <br />I owners' negligence or abuse shall be repaired by the property <br /> owner at his own cost. Inducing into the sewer system of <br /> lots using said pump units the prohibited substances set <br />i forth in Section , or substances not normally intended <br /> to be induced into---~-~ Sanitary sewer system, shall <br /> constitute negligence .or abuse. <br /> <br />I 210.0215 Break's, Interrupted Service. No claim <br /> shall be made against the',City of Ramsey for reason of the <br /> <br /> breaking of any watermain or service pipe or fixture or for any <br />I other interruption of the supply, by reason of the breaking of <br /> machinery or stoppage for necessary repair. <br /> <br />I 210.0216 Sewage Disposal. <br /> <br /> 1. It shall be unlawful for any person to place, deposit or <br />I .permit to be deposited in any unsanitary manner upon public <br /> or private property within the City or in any area under the <br /> <br /> <br />
