- 14 - i damage, destroy, uncover, ~eface or tamper with any structure, appurtenance or equipment ~hich is a part of the City sanitary sewer system or the City water system. I 210.0220 Openin8 Hydrants. No person, except authorized City employees or a memeber of the Fire Department in case of fire, shall be allowed to open any fire hydrant in the I water system for any purpose ~hatsoever, without first securing authorization from the City. I 210.O221 Variances. The Council may permit variances from the strict appliance of any of the provisions of this ordinance if it is satisfied that there are special I circumstances or conditions affecting the premises for which the variance is requested and that the granting of such variance will not'materially affect adversely health, safety or general welfare i or public or private, property. Any variation permitted under this provision must be noted on the permit. I I I I I 210.0222 Peaaltieso Any person violating any provision of this ordinance shall upon conviction thereof be punished bY 'a fine not exceeding $700.00 or by imprisonment not exceeding ninety (90) days, or both. Each day the violation continues shall constitute a separate offense. Any person violating any of the provision of this ordinance may also be held liable to the City for any expense, loss or damage occasioned the City by reason of such violation. Section 2. Effective Date This ordinance becomes effective publication. thirty days after its Passed by the City Council of the City of Ramsey, Minnesota, this day of'August, 1984. !
