A major Anoka County highway runs adjacent to the Industrial Park. Anoka County has prepared a project development report for a bridge crossing the Rum River which bridge would also provide a direct line to the Industrial Park. Construction of such a bridge will give the entire City an access to a Highway #10 interchange without a railroad crossing. LABOR FORCE STATISTICS The most recent unemployment statistics for June, 1984, show Anoka County with a 5.1% unemployment rate and a total labor force of 118,615. The State of Minnesota had a 6.2% unemployment rate for the same period. Table 14 presents the average annual unemployment rates for Anoka County and for the State of Minnesota for the years 1979 through 1983. TABLE 14 -. Highway #10 is a four lane major thoroughfare with direct access both North and South to the Interestate Highway system. Ramsey is also served by a main track of the Burlington Northern Railroad. _ 12
