Mottaz has performed legal services resulting in the award <br />of medical benefits to the employee. <br /> <br /> Attorney Mottaz has petitioned the Division for an award of attorney fees, has <br />advised the Division of the specific legal services rendered, time expended, and has <br />served a statement of attorney's fees requested upon the insurer. <br /> <br /> The Compemsation Judge has determined that an award of attorney fees is <br />appropriate pursuant to Roraff v. State of Minnesota, et al, 288 N.W. 2d 15, 32 W.C.D. <br />297 (1980). <br /> <br /> NOW THEREFORE IT IS ORDERED that the insurer shall pay directly to Attorney <br />Thomas D. Mottaz the sum of $570.00 as and for reasonable attorney fees fo£ <br />representation of the employee with respect to his cla£m for medical benefits. <br /> <br /> IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that such fees shall not be paid from benefits payable to <br />and withheld from the employee, but shall be paid in addition to such benefits pursuant <br />to M.S. 176.135 as interpreted in Roraff. <br /> <br />WORKERS' COMPENSATION DIVISION <br /> <br />ARTHUR H.
