I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> i <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> i <br /> I <br /> I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />PROCEEDINGS OF CITY COUNCIL <br /> PUBLIC HEARING <br /> CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />A public hearing regarding Federal Revenue Sharing was held <br />Tuesday, August 28, 1984 at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 <br />Nowthen Blvd. N.W., Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Tom Gamec <br />Councilmember Jean Schlueter <br />Councilmember A1Sorteberg <br />Councilmember Gary Reimann <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Administrator Lloyd Schnelle <br />Reporter Carolyn Thompson <br /> <br />Members Absent: Councilmember Sue Van Wagner <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called the public hearing to order at ?:43 p.m. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec stated that Ramsey will be receiving $52,000 this <br />coming year in revenue sharing and those funds must be utilized <br />according to State statutes. <br /> <br />Mr. Dennis Donovan - Chairman Of Ramsey Park And Recreation <br />Commission - Stated that the Park Commission would like to see <br />these revenue sharing funds used to develop Ramsey's Central Park <br />Facility. Mr. Donovan stated that the following items are <br />priority needs and quoted estimated costs for each: <br /> <br />Trees planted as a buffer between Park and residential <br />area along 161st - $?50 <br /> <br />2. Bleachers - $4,000 <br /> <br />3. Lighting for 4 fields - $100,000 (Lighting can be <br /> accomplished in stages -- two fields at a time). <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Schlueter and seconded by Councilmember <br />Reimann to adjourn the public hearing. <br /> <br />C/August 28, 1984 <br /> <br /> <br />
