I <br />I <br />I <br />i <br />! <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />! <br />I <br /> <br />PROCEEDINGS OF CITY COUNCIL <br /> PUBLIC HEARING <br /> CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />A public hearing was held on Monday, September 10, 1984 at the <br />Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Blvd. N.W., Ramsey, <br />Minnesota regarding Establishing Proposed Uses For Revenue <br />Sharing. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mr. Tom Gamec, Mayor <br />Councilmember Gary Reimann <br />Councilmember Sue Van Wagner <br />Councilmember A1 Sorteberg <br />Councilmember Jean Schlueter <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Administrator Lloyd Schnelle <br />City Attorney William Goodrich <br />City Engineer Peter Raatikka <br />City Building Official Clayton Berg <br />Reporter Angela Flint <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called the public hearing to order at 8:35 p.m. <br />There was no citizen input. <br /> <br />Councilmember Schlueter inquired as to policy regarding use of <br />revenue sharing. <br /> <br />Mr. Schnelle replied for public use, preferably for capital <br />equipment and not of a long duration. <br /> <br />Councilmember Schlueter inquired if the Budget committee based <br />their recommendation on that premise and therefore did not <br />recommend the funds for park development as it is a long term <br />item. <br /> <br />Councilmember Schlueter inquired if revenue sharing has ever been <br />used for a new program, for instance, a recycling program. <br /> <br />Mr. Schnelle replied that it has -- Titterud park and completion <br />of lower level at City Hall for senior citizens. <br /> <br />Page 1 of 2 <br /> <br /> <br />
