The plat of Ramsey Terrace is located in Drainage District Forty- <br />Three. Recently, areas in that drainage district have experienced <br />flooding. A feasibility study was completed to relieve the flooding <br />problem in the Flintwood Hills Addition on June 26, 1984. To date, no <br />action has been taken on the feasibility. <br /> <br />PROPOSED IMPROVEMENTS <br /> <br />Since the present street and drainage system can provide an opera- <br />tional street and drainage system with some modifications, it is our <br />recommendation that the present rural street section be maintained in <br />the project area. In areas where ditches have filled in, it is pro- <br />posed to clean the ditches prior to street paving. This would limit <br />the disruption to the abutting property and minimize the cost of the <br />improvement. <br /> <br />STREET IMPROVEMENT <br /> <br />The existing streets are proposed to be graded and shaped to accommo- <br />date a minimum street width of 26 feet. The rural streets would be <br />paved 24 feet wide with a variable shoulder of one foot (1') wide as <br />shown on Exhibit B. <br /> <br />The street sections proposed would be narrower than the City of <br />Ramsey's requirements for new street construction but would minimize <br />disruption to the adjacent lots during construction since the street <br />width proposed generally follows the present street section width. <br />any restoration of boulevards along the street is required, it is <br />proposed that this work be completed by the property owners. <br /> <br />If <br /> <br /> <br />
