' COUNTY OF ANOKA
~j Department of Highways
Paul K. Ruud, Highway Engineer
COURT HOUSE ANOKA, MINNESOTA 55303 612!121-4760 ~--'~/'

C:ty o, Ramsey /-." ~.,,,~l~/i~ .
Anoka, ~Snnesota 55303 //: .. -
AttentSon: LI¢yd Schnelle,~lerk Jt' ~

Sub:eot: CR ~¢ -Rum RSver Cros85ng

~entlemen:

We have established a centerline for the construction
of CR #116 from TH #47 to CSAH #7, and last Thursday
reviewed this alignment with Mr. Lyle McLaughlin.
The preparation of his preliminary plat of the property
adjacent to the corridor for CR #116 will match in
well with our original plan for a 200 foot wide right-of-way
from TH 47 to the "oxbow" channel of the Rum River.

We concur in your request to release part of the 250
foot wide corridor that has been protected by the city.
The area released can be that property lying outside
of a 200 foot wide corridor centered on our centerline,
as established. To verify the actual description,
we recommend that the developer, your staff and our
staff meet and review the plat for the development
against the centerline description as now set.

Our consultant has completed his bridge survey and
is working on the preparation of preliminary bridge
plans. We will be completing the topographic survey
of the remainder of the segment and will be working
on preliminary layouts to establish a grade line.

Following completion of these preliminary plans, a
design public hearing will be scheduled. Based on
the hearing, the final design will be determined.

Affirmative Action / Equal Opportunity Employer
