'i I I I ,i I '1 I I I I I Acquisition of ear,rents for K.S.A.S. ]49th Avenue N~'; case of Mr. Alb~n Peterson - (~, Friday, ~bv(~nber 30, ]984, members of the City Staff and the developers of River's Bend met with Mr. Albin Peterson, the owner of the ]and where M.S.A.S. 149th Avenue N~ will be located east of State }~igbway ~47. After a lengthy discussion with M~. Peterson, it was decided that in consideration of the permanent and tempozary easements for K.S.A.S. ]49th Avenue N~', the City of 1~ sey would, by resolution, assure Mr. Peterson of the following: 1) ~bat Mr. Peterson would receive payment in the amount of $10,000.00. 2) ~hat Mr. Peterson or any future (m~ners would be granted access for all lots to M.S.A.S. Waoo Street N~ north of 149th Avenue N~~. 3) That the City of Ramsey will size the storm drain in 149th Avenue NW to provide adequate drainage to Mr. Peterson's property south of 149th Avenue [~, oontingent upon Mr. Peterson's payment of the additional costs curred for additional pipe sizing and further, that Mr. Peterson's payment at this time shall be credited to his property as a portion of the trunk storm drain assess- ment at such time as his property develol:s. It should be noted that the $10,000 acquisition cost is reimbursible from M.S.A.S. funds. {buncil Action: Your action will be to accept/deny the above con- ditions for Mr. Peterson in lieu of the easement needed for the con- struction of M.S.A.S. 149th Avenue N~. Voting yes _ Voting no . ~'~ i) City Engineer's request for partial pay for Construction Pro- jects ~84-12 and ~84-18 - Enclosure (D2-v) contains the City Engi- neer's request for these partial payments which Council will have to act on at this meeting. ~he above enclosure also contains a copy of the proposed resolution. Oouncil Action: Your action will be to approve/disapprove of the above partial pay requests by Council resolution.
