As <br />such this property is subject to the provisions of MS 473.806, subdi- <br />vision 1 (cop), enclosed). This statute prohibits the development of <br />any property which is part of the County's inventory. ~nis statute <br />also prohibits the County and the City from allowing any development <br />which has not been approved by the Metropolitan Council. <br /> <br />The mining of soils would constitute development and cannot be per- <br />mitted unless the development limitation is lifted. In order to lift <br />the development limitation the developer must make such a request of <br />the Metropolitan Council. ~ne Council must then notify the County and <br />th~n the County must act on it before the Council can consider the re- <br />quest.
