Charter Commission (6:30 p.m. — CC) <br />• Review of Bond Regulations and Tax Increment Financing <br />• Discussion of Regulations and Restrictions in Regard to Municipal Authorities <br />• Review Charter Commission Member Terms <br />Council Update <br />Anoka Area Chamber of Commerce Annual Meeting <br />Breakfast. City of Ramsey staff attended the Anoka Area <br />Chamber of Commerce (AACC) Annual Meeting Breakfast on <br />Tuesday, October 11. Among other topics, the meeting <br />included recognition of the Chamber's Ambassadors and <br />Business of the Year awards, a presentation by keynote speaker <br />Bill Lunn from KSTP Channel 5 News, as well as an update <br />from John LeTourneau, Ramsey Councilmember and Director <br />of Manufacturing for the AACC, on the work that the Chamber <br />is doing to advance recruitment within the manufacturing <br />industry. <br />City Improvement Proiect Updates <br />Andrie Street and 164th Lane Reconstruction. A web page was created for this project at <br />www.ci oframsey.com/ANDRIEand]641h. This page will be updated during construction as new <br />information on the project becomes available. To receive email notifications whenever the project <br />web page is updated visit www.ci.ramsev.mn.us/noti&-me, check the "Road Improvements: <br />Andrie Street & 164th Lane" box, enter your email address, then click "Update". <br />Business Park 95 Regional Stormwater Pond Improvements. Improvements are being <br />completed for the regional stormwater pond in Business Park 95, located east of Sunfish Lake <br />Boulevard between Highway 10 and Bunker Lake Boulevard. Improvements include increasing <br />the stormwater holding capacity of the existing pond, and grading ditches and installing storm <br />sewer to provide an outlet for the land -locked pond. Work will be completed by the end of <br />October, weather permitting. <br />Zeolite Street Storm Sewer Extension. Trunk storm sewer is being extended south along Zeolite <br />Street, south of Bunker Lake Boulevard, where it will outlet into the large COR stormwater basin. <br />This work should be completed this week, weather permitting. <br />Central Park Parking Lot Improvements. The City Council recently awarded a contract to <br />construct an additional 70 parking stalls within Central Park, as well as pedestrian trail and <br />stormwater system improvements. Construction is scheduled to be completed by August 1, 2017. <br />Jarvis Street Railroad Crossing Quiet Zone Improvements. The Jarvis Street rail crossing is <br />expected to become an established quiet zone on October 31, 2016. This means the routine <br />sounding of locomotive horns is expected to cease at that time, though horns may still be sounded <br />by the train's engineer if safety concerns warrant. <br />
