K.A.B. COMMITTEE Date: Monday, March 25,1991 Stlbject: Environmental Expo In Attendance: Bruce Bacon Kathi Peterson Claudia Dodge Anne Moroz Margaret Connelly Booths: Booth rental will be $1000.00 for exhibitors. Ms. Connelly has arranged for a stage in the gymnasium. To date, $350 in donations to the K.A.B. Committee have been made businesses this year. Arbor Day Shirts: Claudia has a quote of $3.50 each to print two-color t-shirts with a logo commemorating the Environmental Expo. Kathi suggested we order 200 t-shirts to be sold for $6 each. Fifty-five t- shirts will be given away, one each to elementary classes, the workshop presenters, K.A.B. Committee workers and City Councilmembers. City Involvement: The question was raised if the City of Ramsey was intending to have a booth for information. Councilmembers have been invited to participate at each workshop. The Park and Recreation Commission has been invited to have a display. The recycling workshop and well and septic workshop have an invited staff person. Kathi suggested that each workshop needs a moderator. Fly Swatters: Claudia Dodge has ordered fly swatters at 55¢ each imprinted with a target or logo, to be resold for $1 each. Council Meeting: Kathi Peterson invited committee members to the March 26th Council meeting for her presentation; "Ramsey Clean-Up Month Activities" at 7:30 p.m. The regular K.A.B. meeting will be Monday, April 1, 1991. at 7:00 p.m. at Ramsey Municipal Center. Clean-Up Schedule: Clean-Up activities and Arbor events need to be charted, with fees, materials and volunteer coordination.
