Blvd. NW, Rarnsey, MN 55303. 7'he purpcse of the Eearing is to consider an ~amendment to Zoning Ordinance Section 170.02, Mobile Homes. The propesal would entail deleting Paragraphs four {41 and five (5) of Section 170.022,. Mobile home location, which paragraphs generally provide for the placement of a mobile home on private property on a temporary basis and which paragraphs specifically read as follows: "4. One house trailer or mobile home may be placed upon any tract of land by the owner of said tract and be used for temporary dwelling purposes for a period not in excess of ninety (90) days, upon obtaining from the City Council a permit therefor. Applications for such shall be made in writing to the Building Official, and it shall be his duty to submit such application .to the City Council at the next regular meeting thereof. The City Council may in its discretion grant or deny such permit and may require as a condition to th~. granting of said permit or any renewal permit that the applicant appear in person before the Council and be examined as to his plans for a permanant dwelling and other matters relative thereto. In no event shall a permit be issued unless a building permit for a permanent structure has been acquired for a home to be located on the subject premises, and construction on the permanent structure must commence within thirty (30) days from the date of issuance of the temporary mobile home permit. 5. At the time of issuance of the temporary mobile home permit, a certified check or surety bond in the amount of Three Hundred and 00/100ths Dollars ($300.00) payable to the City shall be required. Failure on the part of the owner to remove the mobile home within the specified time shall result in the forfeiture of the escrow deposit or bond.' AU interested persons are invited to attend the hearing and comment on the ordinance amendment. Written comments are also welcome and shall be addressed to the Ramsey Planning and Zoning Commission, 15153 Nowthen Blvd. NW, Ramsey, MN 55303.
