RESOLUTION ~- WHEREAS, the following pieces of City equipment were taken from the City's Public Works Building on June 18, 1984: Homelite Chain Saw Super XL Automatic 1(~" - Serial ~40Z50918 Echo Chain Saw CS-315 14"- Serial ~0059925 Echo Weed and Grass Trimmer GT - 1/)0A - Serial #00054Z82 Safety gas can wHEREAS, the City's insurance carrier will replace the above equipment based on the following method: "Replacement will be based on the current purchase price for each piece, less depreciation of each item which is based on years owned by City "; and WHEREAS, Section 7.08 of the City Charter provides that all purchases not budgeted shall be amended by Council resolution. Accordingly, budget amendment #3 is hereby submitted. (It should be noted that the insurance company will only be covering a portion of these costs and the remainder will be by General Fund 101 ); and WHEREAS, the Public Works Superintendent has requested that he be authorized to replace the above stolen pieces of equipment. NOW THEREFORE, BE rr RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) The Ramsey City Council hereby approves amendment 4~3 to the 1984 City Budget which amends the General Fund 101 Street Maintenance Activity 4lll, Line Item 1510, as per budget amendment ~3. 2) Budget amendment #3 to the City's 1984 Annual Budget is hereby designated as enclosure (1) to this resolution. 3) It is further directed that the City Accounting Department be furnished a copy of this resolution with enclosure (1) in order to take appropriate accounting action.
