II <br /> I! <br /> I{ <br /> I! <br /> I} <br /> II <br /> <br /> II <br /> <br /> Ir <br /> Il <br />Em <br /> <br />Ce <br /> <br />De <br /> <br />Grantee will provide an audio/video emergency alert override <br />system that will permit the interruption by designated City <br />officials of all audio (including FM) and video programming, <br />instructing citizens to switch to Channel 10 for emergency <br />announcements. <br /> <br />Grantee shall provide at least eight (8) channels for access <br />use (including one for each of the following uses: public, <br />educational, government, leased, regional, religious chan- <br />nel, senior citizens access, and library access). All resi- <br />dential subscribers who receive all or any part of the total <br />services offered on the System shall also receive all of <br />said eight (8) access channels at no additional charge. <br />These channels shall be activated upon System activation and <br />thereafter maintained. Grantee shall establish rules and <br />regulations prior to System activation for the use of access <br />channels which shall be approved by City before implementa- <br />tion and thereafter shall not be altered or amended without <br />approval of City. In preparing such rules: <br /> <br />(1) Grantee shall provide an equal opportunity for use of <br /> <br /> access services. <br /> <br />(2) Grantee will consider needs assessments prepared by <br /> City. <br /> <br />(3) Grantee will comply, at a minimum, with the require- <br /> ments of City and the Board now or hereafter adopted or <br /> determined by City or the Board regarding access chan- <br /> nels.
