GOODRICH, CITY ATTORNEY <br />MAY 21, 1984 <br />NORTH CENTRAL PUBLIC SERVICE COMPANY FRANCHISE ORDINANCE <br /> <br /> North Central Public Service has requested that the City adopt the attached <br />Ordinance allowing it to construct, reconstruct, etc. a gas pipeline <br />distribution system for the distribution of natural gas within the City of <br />Ramsey. This franchise would allow North Central to make necessary excavations <br />in the City streets and other public property and it does require restoration to <br />be made after the construction is completed. In addition North Central would be <br />responsible for all damages caused by its employees' negligence. <br /> <br /> North Central does agree to supply the City and its residents an adequate <br />supply of gas as long as available at rates fixed by the Minnesota Public <br />Utilities Commission. <br /> <br /> I recommend that the City adopt the attached Franchise Ordinance and publish <br />it as a City Ordinance. North Central will pay all expenses related to this <br />matter. <br /> <br /> <br />
