I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />AIRPORT COMMISSION <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />A special meeting of the Ramsey Airport Commission was held on <br />Wednesday, May 10, 1984 at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 <br />Nowthen Blvd. N.W., Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mr <br />Mr <br />Mr <br />Mr <br />Mr <br />Mr <br />Mr <br />Mr <br /> <br />Jack Ippel, Chairman <br />Chuck Soderholm <br />Ken Patz <br />Bill Morrow <br />Dick Sieber <br />John Siebert <br />Dennis Donovan (arrived at 8:10 p.m.) <br />Don Greenberg (arrived at 8:40 p.m.) <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Administrator Lloyd Schnelle <br />Mro Larry Koshak of Hakanson/Anderson Engineering <br /> <br />Members Absent: Ms. Jeanne Moen <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Chairman Ippel called the special meeting to order at 8:05 p.m. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />APPRO~TAL OF AGENDA <br /> <br />Consensus was to approve the agenda as submitted. <br /> <br />COMMISSION BUSINESS <br /> <br />Chairman Ippel stated that the purpose of tonight's meeting is <br />to set some guidelines for the public meeting scheduled for <br />Wednesday, May 16, 1984. <br /> <br />Chairman Ippel stated that plans are proceeding quite well for <br />the Gateway North Open House scheduled for June 2, 1984. A <br />cit-wide mailing will go out this week-en regarding the May 16 <br />public meeting and the June 2 open house; advertising will be <br />via the Anoka Shopper, Anoka Union, Elk River paper, cable T.V. <br />and KANO. <br /> <br />Commissioner Patz referred to the June 2 open house and stated <br />that all of the tech center buildings will be open and radar <br />simulators, flight simulators and weather computer will be in <br />operation. Movies and slide presentations will be set up in <br />one of the tech center buildings, there will be discussions on <br />airport patterns around Gateway and various types of airplanes <br />will be on display.
