I I I I A. Proficiency Pay Plan with testing for eligibility. After 4 years of service 3% of top patrol in 5th year (convert to flat dollar for that year and use that flat dollar figure for 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th years). After 8 years of service 5% of top patrol. Again, convert to flat dollar and use that figure for 9th, 10th, llth and 1Zth years. After 1Z years of service 7% of top patrol. Use same procedure as for previous steps. After 16 years of service 9% of top patrol. Use same procedure as previous. The above four Percentage steps are applied against the top patrol rate for the year at which eligibility begins based on the officer's anniversary date (date of full-time employ- ment).
