Councilmember Pearson introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION #04-05-121 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ORDERING IMPROVEMENT AND PREPARATION OF PLANS AND <br />SPECIFICATIONS AND ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS FOR <br />IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #04-08 (SEALCOAT AND CRACK FILL BISON ST - 173m~ <br />AVENUE/CDS) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Ramsey City Council adopted Resolution #04-02-027 on February 10, 2004, <br />fixing a date for a Council public hearing on the proposed improvement to sealcoat and crack fill <br />Bison Street - 173rd Avenue/CDS (Improvement Project #04-08) and; <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, ten days' mailed notice and two weeks' published notice of the hearing was <br />given, and the hearing was held on March 9, 2004, at which time all persons desiring to be heard were <br />given an opportunity to be heard thereon; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City has waited the required sixty (60) days following the public hearing. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA: <br /> <br />1) Such improvement is hereby ordered as proposed on February 10, 2004. <br /> <br />2) City Engineer Steve Jankowski is hereby designated as the engineer for this improvement. He <br /> shall prepare plans and specifications for the making of such improvement. <br /> <br />3) The City Clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the official paper an <br /> advertisement for bids upon the making of such improvement under such plans and <br /> specifications. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Zimmerman, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec <br />Councilmember Pearson <br />Councilmember Zimmerman <br />Councilmember Cook <br />Councilmember Elvig <br />Councilmember Kurak <br />Councilmember Strommen <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />none <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #04-05-121 <br /> Page 1 of 2 <br /> <br /> <br />
