Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #16-09-187 <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BIDS AND AWARDING CONTACT FOR <br />RAMSEY MUNICIPAL COMPLEX SITE DEMOLITION <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to a resolution of the City Council adopted August 23, 2016, the <br />City Council accepted final plans and specifications and authorized advertisement for bids for said <br />project; and <br />WHEREAS, bids were received, opened, and tabulated on September 21st, 2016, and the <br />following bids were found to comply with the advertisement for bids; and <br />Contractor Total Bid <br />DRC, Inc. $ 92,900.00 <br />Landwehr Construction, Inc. $148,574.00 <br />Rachel Contracting, Inc. $163,274.00 <br />Dryden Excavating, Inc. $164,900.00 <br />Stack Bros. $177,897.60 <br />H & T Trucking $184,320.00 <br />Sauter & Sons, Inc. $197,500.00 <br />Max Steininger, Inc. $219,000.00 <br />Veit & Company, Inc. $219,963.64 <br />North Pine Aggregate, Inc. $262,970.00 <br />Kevitt Excavating, LLC $391,263.76 <br />WHEREAS, the bid of DRC, Inc. of Minnetonka, Minnesota, in the amount of $92,900.00 <br />for the total bid for said project in accordance with the approved plans and specifications and <br />advertisement for bids, is the lowest responsible bidder and their bid shall be and hereby is <br />accepted. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA: <br />1) The Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized and directed to enter into <br />a contract with said bidder for said project for and on behalf of the City of Ramsey. <br />2) The City Administrator is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all <br />bidders the deposit made with their bids as such time that a contract has been <br />executed. <br />RESOLUTION #16-09-XXX <br />Page 1 of 2 <br />
