DOCUMENT 00 73 00 <br />SUPPLEMENTARY CONDITIONS <br />These Supplementary Conditions amend or supplement the Standard General Conditions of the Construction Contract (No. C- <br />700, 2002 Edition) and other provisions of the Contract Documents as indicated below. All provisions which are not so amended <br />or supplemented remain in full force and effect. <br />The terms used in these Supplementary Conditions have the meanings stated in the General Conditions. Additional terms used in <br />these Supplementary Conditions have the meanings stated below, which are applicable to both the singular and plural thereof. <br />SC-4.02 Add the following new paragraph(s) immediately after Paragraph 4.02.B: <br />C. In the preparation of Drawings and Specifications, Engineer relied upon the following reports of explorations and tests <br />of subsurface conditions at the Site: <br />1. City Hall & Fire Station Architectural plans by Setter Leach & Lindstrom Inc., dated July 14, 1977 (Includes 26 <br />Sheets). <br />2. Police Building Architectural Plans prepared by Paul Meyer Architects, dated June 20, 1996 (Includes 9 <br />Sheets). <br />3. Asbestos Survey Report City Building 15153 Nowthen Blvd. Ramsey, MN , dated November 2012, prepare by <br />Environmental Property Audits , Inc. <br />4. Asbestos Survey Report Municipal Building 5240 Helium Street NW Ramsey, MN, dated November 2012, <br />prepared by Environmental Property Audits, Inc. <br />SC-4.04 Add the following new paragraph immediately after paragraph 4.04.B: <br />C. Contractor shall notify "Gopher State One Call" at least 48 hours before starting excavation in accordance with state <br />laws. <br />SC-4.05 Delete Paragraphs 4.05.A in its entirety and insert the following: <br />Engineer shall provide engineering surveys for construction, including alignment and grade, which in Engineer's judgement <br />are necessary to enable Contractor to proceed with the Work. Contractor shall protect and preserve the established reference <br />points, property monuments, survey stakes and marks, and shall make no changes or relocations without authorization from <br />Engineer. The costs incurred in replacement of disturbed or lost reference points, property monuments, or survey stakes and <br />marks shall be deducted from payments to Contractor in any case where the disturbance or loss is not directly attributed to an <br />error or act of Engineer. Contractor shall provide Engineer forty-eight (48) hours written notice of the need for survey stakes. <br />SC-4.06 Delete Paragraphs 4.06.A and 4.06.B in their entirety and insert the following: <br />A. No reports or drawings related to Hazardous Environmental Conditions are known to Owner or Engineer. <br />B. Not Used. <br />Supplementary Conditions <br />00 73 00-1 <br />
