B. DUST CONTROL <br />1. Construction activities which have potential for generation of dust shall be restricted to avoid nuisance. <br />2. Controls shall be provided to confine dust and dirt within immediate area of demolition. <br />3. Masonry and debris shall be thoroughly soaked during demolition and loading operations. <br />C. NOISE CONTROL <br />1. Noise control measures shall be taken to limit amount of noise and prevent nuisance. <br />2. Construction activities generating significant noise shall be limited to normal working hours. <br />3.02 BASIS OF PAYMENT: <br />A. Control work performed for protection of all construction areas including areas such as borrow and waste areas, <br />haul roads, equipment and material storage sites, and temporary plant sites, will not be measured and paid for <br />directly but shall be considered as a subsidiary obligation of Contractor with costs included in contract prices <br />bid for items to which they apply. <br />END OF SECTION <br />Division 31— Earthwork <br />DV31-8 <br />
