Councilmember LeTourneau agreed that he would like to hear the input from residents and the <br />consensus may be that they appreciate the growth and change and would be willing more for <br />those items, especially if choices are given. <br />2.02: Discussion Regarding the 2017-2018 Union Contract Negotiations for AFSCME, <br />LELS-Patrol and LELS-Sergeants (Portions of the Discussion May be Closed to the <br />Public) <br />City Administrator Ulrich recommended that the Council discuss this item in closed session. <br />Motion by Councilmember Riley, seconded by Councilmember Kuzma, to adjourn the Work <br />Session meeting to closed session at 6:03 p.m. to discuss the 2017-2018 Union Contract <br />Negotiations for AFSCME, LELS-Patrol and LELS-Sergeants. <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Strommen, Councilmembers Riley, Kuzma, LeTourneau, <br />Shryock, and Williams. Voting No: None. Absent: Councilmember Johns. <br />The meeting reconvened in open session at 6:55 p.m. <br />Mayor Strommen suggested deferring discussion on the final topic due to lack of time, noting <br />that the item can be added to the regular agenda for discussion. <br />3.
