CC Regular Session <br />Meeting Date: 10/11/2016 <br />By: Kathy Schmitz, Administrative Services <br />Information <br />4. 8. <br />Title <br />Adopt Resolution #16-10-192 Approving Partial Payment to Brennan Construction of MN, Inc. for IP #14-30 Fire <br />Station #2. <br />Purpose/Background: <br />Resolution, Budget, and Pay Requests are Attached. <br />STAFF NOTES: <br />Generally, from a budget perspective, this project is in a positive position (please see attached budget). The City <br />had $210,000 budgeted for change orders. At this point, roughly 41% of the project contingency budget has been <br />used, and staff doesn't see anything major coming forward before this project closes out (we do expect a change <br />order #6). Additionally, between wiring, FF&E, and the generator line items, staff expects the project to come in <br />$120,000 below budget (savings). Staff, BKV Group, and Brennen Construction have worked together on several <br />occasions throughout this project to eliminate potential change orders and save money within available line items <br />(i.e. FF&E, wiring, and the generator).
