Counciimember Pearson introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #04-05-128 RESOLUTION APPROVING 3rd PARTIAL PAYMENT TO W.B. MILLER, Inc. for IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #03-27 (141sT AVE. NW, AZURITE ST. NW AND BASALT AVE. NW) WHEREAS, on August 26th, 2003, City Council adopted Resolution #03-08-205 approving the plans and specifications for the above referenced work; and WHEREAS, Principal City Engineer Brian Olson inspected the completed work and recommended 1st partial payment to W.B. Miller, Inc. in the amount of$155,872.11. WHEREAS, Principal City Engineer Brian Olson inspected the completed work and recommended 2nd partial payment to W.B. Miller, Inc. in the amount of $55,191.68. WHEREAS, Principal City Engineer Brian Olson inspected the completed work and recommended 3rd partial payment to W.B. Miller, Inc. in the amount of $56,444.35. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the City Council hereby authorizes 3rd partial payment to W.B. Miller, Inc. for Improvement Project #03-27, 141st Ave., NW, Azurite St. NW and Basalt Ave. NW project in the amount of $56,444.35 on May 25, 2004. 2) That the City Council authorizes the Mayor or City Administrator to sign the release form for this payment. 3) That the total amount of this payment is not included in resolutions approving payment of bills for the month of May 2004. 4) That the City of Ramsey Finance Department will be provided a signed copy of this resolution.
