Exception 3: That part of Tract A lying southerly of the southerly boundary of Exception <br />2. <br /> <br />(The Subject Property) <br /> <br />AND WHEREAS, <br /> the Comprehensive Plan approved in 2010 shows the Subject Property <br />designated land use as Rural Developing; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> the Applicant is requesting that the designated land use of the Subject Property <br />be changed to Low Density Residential; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> the Ramsey Planning Commission met on October 6, 2016, conducted a public <br />hearing, and recommended that the Ramsey City Council approve the Applicant’s request for an <br />amendment to the Comprehensive Plan. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> <br />1)That the Ramsey City Council hereby approves the request for a land use designation change of <br />the Subject Property from Rural Developing to Low Density Residential. <br /> <br /> <br />2)That the Ramsey City Council hereby authorizes City Staff to submit the necessary <br />documentation to Metropolitan Council for an amendment to the 2010 Comprehensive Plan to <br />change the land use designation to Low Density Residential. <br /> <br /> <br />3)That this land use change shall become effective concurrent with the City’s receipt of notification <br />of approval from Metropolitan Council. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Riley, <br />and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br /> Mayor Strommen <br /> Councilmember Shryock <br /> Councilmember Riley <br /> Councilmember Johns <br /> Councilmember Kuzma <br /> Councilmember LeTourneau <br /> Councilmember Williams <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #16-10-185 <br />Page 2 of 3 <br /> <br /> <br />
